Shane brings real aviation experience to Flight RC. By day he works in aircraft incident investigation and quality assurance for Air New Zealand Engineering. By evening and weekend, he’s back at 9 North Avon Road, helping RC flyers of all levels with practical advice, reliable gear, and the same hands‑on enthusiasm that once powered Canterbury Sailplanes.
Flight RC is run from home, just like Canterbury Sailplanes once was. It keeps costs sensible, the shelves well-stocked and gives Shane the flexibility to help aeronauts after hours when someone needs a part for the next day’s flying.
