Seagull Models - SEA278NGEAR

Messerschmitt BF-109E TROP 20cc with high end JP electric retracts.

The Seagull Models BF‑109E‑4 Trop captures the character of one of WWII’s most iconic fighters, recreated here in a beautifully built 64‑inch ARF for intermediate to advanced pilots.

The “Trop” designation refers to the tropicalized variant of the Bf‑109E used in North Africa, equipped with a distinctive sand‑filter intake and adapted for harsh desert conditions. Seagull’s matte desert scheme pays tribute to those aircraft and gives this model a striking, authentic presence both on the ground and in the air.

The BF‑109E‑4 Trop is designed for pilots with solid warbird experience who want a model that looks the part and flies with the presence of the full‑scale machine. The airframe offers stable, predictable handling for its class, yet still delivers the spirited performance you’d expect from a 15–20cc platform.

Assembly is straightforward thanks to Seagull’s high level of factory completion: pre‑hinged surfaces, painted fiberglass cowl, detailed cockpit, and a removable forward hatch for easy access to electronics. Whether you choose gas or electric power, the included hardware makes setup clean and simple.

For pilots ready to step into a scale warbird with character, history, and commanding flight presence, the BF‑109E‑4 Trop is a standout choice.
