Piper Cherokee PA-28 87" 35cc ARF kit in a striking Warrior II, mustang tribute livery - NEW for 2026.

A striking homage to the courage, sacrifice, and legacy of the Greatest Generation.  This exceptional livery is inspired by a full-scale Piper PA-28 meticulously repainted to honor the men and women who served during World War II. While rooted in a civilian airframe, the design boldly bridges general aviation with classic American warbird heritage, transforming the PA-28 into a flying tribute to history.

Prominent black-and-white D-Day invasion stripes, applied across both the wings and fuselage, commemorate the Allied landings of June 6, 1944—symbols instantly recognizable as markings carried into combat during humanity’s defining stand for freedom.  The aircraft’s polished aluminum skin is accented with P-51 Mustang–inspired yellow/black trim, evoking the iconic fighter escorts that dominated the skies over Europe. These stylized yellow highlights add visual authority and unmistakable warbird character while honoring the aircraft that protected bomber crews deep into enemy territory.

Distinctive nose art on both sides of the cowl, rendered in the spirit of the legendary Memphis Belle, pays tribute to WWII aircrews whose aircraft carried both art and identity into harm’s way—each mission a testament to bravery and brotherhood.

On the rear fuselage, Airborne wings stand in solemn remembrance of the more than 2,500 paratroopers who gave their lives on D-Day, honoring those who descended into history under fire so others might live in freedom.

Adding a deeply personal historical touch, the wing walkway is marked “Runway 27,” a direct reference to RAF Raydon’s Runway 27, from which the famed “Slybirds” launched their missions into occupied Europe—grounding this aircraft not just in style, but in place and purpose.
