TOLEDO RC MODEL SUNGLASSES


The Toledo package is a highly versatile and stylish solution that is ideal for RC model flying. Toledo feature height-adjustable side arms, adjustable nose pads and interchangeable lenses for different light conditions.

The Frame

Made from a tough TR90 composite, Toledo's frame is finished in an attractive white and black scheme. A rubber gasket, located across the inside top of the frame, allows for better wind blockage, whilst greatly reducing the chances of sweat dripping into your eyes and onto the back of the lenses. It also enhances comfort levels. The adjustable nose clip allows further enhancement of the fit to suit your needs. A unique ratchet system allows the side arms to be raised or lowered for a perfect fit.

The Lenses

Toledo are supplied with four sets of lenses as standard. They are:

  • Category 0, yellow, for low light conditions 
  • Category 2, beige polarised, for fairly bright or changeable conditions 
  • Category 3 Frostech, for sunny conditions
  • Category 4 dark, smoked for very bright sunshine (please note this lens option is not suitable for driving).

All lenses are scratch resistant, and made from impact resistant polycarbonate.

The Package

A carry case, microfibre cleaning cloth and retainer strap are also included with Toledo.

Conformity And Legal

Rapid Eyewear sunglasses conform to British, European and US standards for sunglasses and protective equipment testing. They offer 100% UVA / UVB (uv400) protection.
